In Year Four, the pupils learn a new unit each term: Hola Mexico!, Traders and Raiders and A Passport to Europe. Within the Autumn Term, pupils learn about the Maya Civilisation with a geographical focus on Mexico. The children then learn about the Vikings and the Anglo Saxons in the Spring Term before exploring different countries in Europe, and comparing their physical (geographical) features, in their ’A Passport to Europe’ topic. Within these key themes, the pupils will be exposed to a range of curriculum subjects across the terms.
