Spanish at Green Ridge Primary Academy

At Green Ridge, we know that learning another language opens doors to new cultures, experiences and opportunities for our pupils. We have chosen Spanish our Modern Foreign Language (MFL). Children begin learning Spanish formally in Key Stage 2, building their skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing. In Key Stage 1, children are introduced to simple Spanish vocabulary and basic greetings, helping to develop confidence and curiosity about language from an early age. We want our children to develop a love of languages and leave Green Ridge well prepared for the next stage of their educational journey.
